Meet Patrick

Patrick Maclean started in the industry on a coating crew working on a mainline spread for large contractors. He used his passions and aptitude to chase knowledge of corrosion and cathodic protection once introduced to it. After a decade of accumulating experience and skill in the corrosion field, he served as a construction manager on large projects for Energy Transfer Partners.

In 2021, Patrick started iAMP with Madison and was at the forefront of building the book of work and client relations. As an owner and employee, Patrick has juggled many roles from business development, client relations, manager, technical work, administrative, and growth planning. Patrick’s key success has been a by-product of pursuing a solution to complicated field implementation or design rather than drowning in a problem. His keen ability to seek the actual principle of service to clients and employees is his strongest contribution. Patrick has led on new service lines and operational next steps while managing construction, technical projects, and personnel during his tenure. Patrick has used his experience to successfully execute small and large projects while at iAMP, most notably:

  • Impressed current cathodic protection system on marine structures,

  • AC mitigation installations,

  • Various cathodic protection testing,

  • Impressed current cathodic protection systems on underground pipelines,

  • Above ground coatings,

  • And deep well CP installations.

Patrick is an AMPP-certified Cathodic Protection Technician and Coatings Inspector Level 2.
