Jake began his career in pipeline integrity and cathodic protection as a company corrosion technician for a large-scale operator in South Texas in 2014. Spending nearly 5 years as an end user afforded Jake the opportunity to experience managing compliance deadlines and various forms of cathodic protection projects, appreciate the importance of accuracy and efficiency in technical field work, as well as participate heavily in compliance-related audits. This experience, combined with his keen attention to detail, paved the way for Jake to move into quality assurance and cathodic protection inspection on large-scale CP projects throughout the Northeastern U.S.

In 2020, Jake moved back to his home state of Oklahoma, taking on the role of Division Manager for a family-owned cathodic protection service provider. Having a firsthand understanding of end user needs and expectations, combined with his personal integrity and expertise in his field, has resulted in Jake forming many valuable relationships and a faithful client base. Since joining iAMP, Jake has helped to develop and grow the Midcon region to service clients spanning from Texas to Minnesota.

Jake holds several industry-recognized certifications including AMPP Cathodic Protection Technician (CP2), AMPP Coating Inspector (CIP1), API 1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector, OSHA 30, as well as an Associate in Applied Science in Pipeline Integrity Technology.

Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and family on his ranch, elk hunting, and primitive camping.
