David Collins began his career and spent 17 years at U.S. Pipeline, a large pipeline contractor. David started in the field as a welder’s helper and worked his way up through field management to corporate management throughout his tenure at USPL, ending as the Manager/Director of Quality Control and Superintendent.   

As the VP of Maintenance and Integrity at iAMP, David brings expertise in pipeline construction, inspection, and quality assurance on pipeline new construction and maintenance projects. He has deep industry ties, paired with his leadership that can be used to grow the division from the ground up. David has extensive field knowledge, coupled with commitment to excellence; he supports the company’s mission to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality projects for our clients in the maintenance sector of the oil and gas industry.  

David holds a number of industry-recognized certifications, including AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), AMPP Coating Inspector (CIP) Level 1, AMPP Cathodic Protection Tester (CP 1), and API 1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector.  

He enjoys spending time outside with his two young sons, hunting and fishing.
